OMGPONY!

Today was a spa day for Mocha… Our farrier, David Hallock, came out to the barn and treated Mocha to a lovely pedicure.  She stood patiently, for the most part, while he trimmed and rasped her hooves into shape.  She currently has some flaring of the hooves, more pronounced on the rear, that needs to be worked on over the next few months.  I’m sure her “plumpness” and lazing around a pasture for the last few years led to it, but David is pretty confident we can get them back into good shape over the next few months with some special attention.
